Lead in connecting the local Afghan refugee community of people (75-100 families) to resources, such as medical services, transportation, housing, education, employment opportunities, and other basic needs – Deliver individual or small group curriculum as needed, focusing on topics such as tenant literacy, financial literacy, and workplace readiness, and provide orientation and cultural trainings for both the Afghan population and local recipient community – Work with refugees and migrants who have particular vulnerabilities such as those who are disabled, elderly, single parents, LGBTQ+, victims of trafficking and domestic violence, homeless, and more – Act as a cultural broker for Afghan refugees and a connection point for neighbors as needed in emergency situations
