ABOUT CARL BETCHER
I hold a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. I am experienced in the design and development of digital hardware for defense and commercial systems. My experience includes the design of digital circuit cards, programmable logic devices, and box level design. I have education and experience in the development of hardware implementing digital signal processing algorithms and functions. My experience includes many technical leadership positions. I have ten years of technical management experience including managing the DSP Technology Development Department in the Hardware Development Area and the Core Systems Engineering Department for the Naval Helicopter Programs at Lockheed Martin, Owego, NY. I am currently teaching at Binghamton University in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department as a Lecturer.Specialties: Design and development of DSP and communications hardware and systems using FPGA and ASIC devices, hardware modeling and simulation in C, Matlab, Verilog, VHDL, and ModelSim.
