Advising and supporting FIU KSCIS students throughout their academic career. Participating in Advising Team Committees handling Excess Credit, Major Changes and Advising Professional Development events/opportunities such as Advisor DRIVE to benefit the student populations and increase my leadership skills. Working with students within the Flit-Gap pathway and participating in events with Breakthrough Tech Miami at FIU to ensure successful participation. Assisting the Associate Director/Manager of Advising for in training/development of newly hired Academic Advisors on working with our students. Serving as a Senior Advisor for our younger advisors and guiding them in the goal of student success. Managing four student assistants within the Undergraduate Advising team.
