With over 15 years of experience as a clinical informatics application developer, I specialize in creating mobile applications and user dashboards that interface with electronic health records. My expertise lies in developing applications using FHIR APIs and integrating them with third-party applications on iOS and Android platforms. I have also participated in designing and developing multiple applications and interfaces that conform to HL7/FHIR standards. As a five-time clinical application developer award winner, I am recognized as a subject matter expert in FHIR and have a passion for analyzing current systems and processes, working with patients and clinicians to design, develop, test, and deploy applications. In addition to my clinical informatics experience, I am also a Cerner applications analyst with extensive experience building Cerner applications in line with clinician workflows for acute, ambulatory, rehabilitation, and behavioral health using the Model Experience content guides. I have led provider and non-provider subject matter expert workgroups to obtain design decisions, ultimately building specialty-driven workflow mPages, custom note templates, and specialty global auto-text. I provide on-call support to clinicians using organizations\' ticket queue systems to triage and assess application errors and have a proven track record in resolving end-user frustration by addressing problems using Cerner’s back-end tools or providing end-user education. Finally, I have a skillset aligned in e-learning and training material content development. With an extensive background in creating deliverables in Storyline, Captivate, and Camtasia for customers, my expertise lies in the creation of these modules within the technical, life sciences, and pharmaceutical industry. I also have the skillset needed to create a learning management system and collect data from assessments and/or e-learning course participation.

   As a Cerner Physician Track Analyst Consultant working with McLaren Health, my primary objective is to optimize the organization\'s electronic health records (EHR) system. Over the course of my tenure, I have worked closely with clinical and the Physician Track team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance the system\'s functionality and efficiency. One of the key initiatives I led was the development and implementation of a new order set protocol that streamlined the ordering process and improved patient safety. This involved conducting extensive research on best practices and consulting with physicians and nurses to ensure the new protocol met their needs. I also created medication drug level rules under the guidance of the CMIO to make the system safer, using the Leapfrog CPOE regulation guidelines as a use case. Additionally, I collaborated with IT and clinical staff to optimize the EHR system\'s reporting capabilities, creating custom reports that provide valuable insights into patient outcomes, care utilization, and resource allocation. This has enabled McLaren Health to make data-driven decisions and improve the quality of care provided to patients. Throughout my time as a consultant, I have also provided ongoing support to clinical staff on the EHR system, troubleshooting issues and addressing concerns in a timely manner. This has helped to minimize disruptions to patient care and ensure that the system continues to function smoothly.
