As General Manager for the Zimmer Radio and Marketing Group, I ensure the smooth daily operation of our 9 radio stations and multiple online properties. I manage all departments (sales, programming, business & administrative, creative services, and engineering) and strive to maintain a great work environment and culture, as well as the financial viability of the company by setting long range and annual objectives including profit growth, organization and people development in order to maximize revenues.I believe managers should lead by example, be passionate about everything they do, take ownership of their accomplishments and mistakes, practice humility, and always look for ways to improve at work and home to become better (not to mention - have fun!). The key to being a successful market manager today is recruiting the right people. For any company to move full steam ahead, your vision must be fully aligned with your team members.
