Experience
Director, People & Communities (Inclusion and Diversity) at Cisco
Apr 2019 — Present · Research Triangle Park, NC, US
In this role, I develop, launch, and monitor enterprise-wide DEI initiatives, programs, and processes. I also support Cisco’s DEI strategic plan, deliver actionable tools, and provide ongoing data/analytics management to measure effectiveness. Some of my key accomplishments here include: I develop and deliver DEI programs for our strategic partners and inclusive internal communities. I build partnerships with C-suite leaders, EROs, and our HR and talent acquisition teams, among other stakeholders. I recently worked with our engagement team to bolster internal giving initiatives. This resulted in an 82% participation rate among employees globally, which raised $34M in contributions and volunteer hours. I also recently created the highly successful “ConnectOne” DEI program to foster internal community. Within just months, ConnectOne achieved 100% participation rates and 4/5 satisfaction ratings among all employees enrolled.
