ABOUT CARLA TAMAI
Space Exploration Engineer graduated with a Space Flight Master at TuDelft and a Master in Space Studies at the International Space University. My main interests are astronaut training and human spaceflight operations. I am currently working as a young graduate trainee (YGT) at the European Astronaut Center (EAC) of ESA for lunar Gateway astronaut training analysis, planning, and facility definition. I recently published a peer-reviewed scientific paper on diffusion and sublimation of volatiles through ice dust layers in collaboration with CSIS in Madrid and TuDelft. Furthermore, I am working on an individual project on spacesuits’ design to incorporate access to emergency medications and a team project on Commercial Space Stations (as @Orbital Reef).Personal characteristics include: Team working, Energetic and Problem-solving work attitude, Planning, Continuous Seek of Improvement, Leadership.
