Southwest Michigan First is an organization of privately funded economic development advisors who act as the catalyst for economic growth in Southwest Michigan. Founded in on the principle that the most powerful force for change is a job, the organization works to create jobs across all industries throughout the seven counties that make up the Southwest Michigan Region.I have served in a variety of capacities at Southwest Michigan First always championing a culture of excellence. I led out Business Attraction Team, Leadership and Talent Development Team and now focus almost exclusively on consulting opportunities focused on leadership development and our Consultant Connect consultancy. I also served as the Interim CEO from January 2021-December 2021 leading the entire organization during a challenging season for the company without losing any team members and re-establishing community partnerships.
