ABOUT CARLA GAMBOA
As an experienced and accomplished International Senior Marketing Leader, I hold a Bachelor\'s degree in Graphic Design, two MBA\'s specialized in Marketing and Green Marketing. and currently studying my PHD on Communications. With over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, I have had the privilege of working in various areas of the industry, including licensing and merchandising, open TV, exhibition, and distribution. During my time at Twentieth Century Fox Films, I began my career as a Promotions Manager in my native Mexico City, where I was exposed to the excitement and intricacies of the entertainment industry. Through hard work and dedication, I was fortunate enough to be promoted to Marketing Director for 20th Century Fox in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and the Virgin Islands. I was responsible for launching over 300 releases throughout the Caribbean, contributing to a 10-year market leadership. As a leader, I value teamwork, effective communication, and creative problem-solving. Throughout my career, I have managed simultaneous negotiations across multiple countries, languages, currencies, partners, and teams. In addition, I have pursued several personal interests, including watercolor painting, yoga teaching, Reiki mastery, and bilingual writing for web magazines focused on environmental awareness. Writing for magazines that specialize in rock climbing has been a particular passion of mine. I am committed to continuous growth and learning, and I believe that my diverse skills and experience, combined with my passion for sustainability and creativity, make me an asset to any team. I am grateful for the opportunities that I have had in my career in local and international markets thus far, and I look forward to the future with excitement and enthusiasm.
