I am a passionate and seasoned leader dedicated to advancing innovative approaches to social impact.I am honored to serve as CEO of the Christensen Fund, where I continue to advance work at the intersection of rights, conservation, and equitable development.My work is driven by a commitment to protect human dignity, promote social justice, and ensure the integrity of the planet we share. Throughout my career, I have served in diverse roles that align with these goals. I have been honored to work with the United Nations, serve as legal counsel to the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in their opposition to the Dakota Access Pipeline, and to help in various projects promote community-driven solutions and create market driven pathways for social change.In addition to authoring numerous law review articles, book chapters, and other academic publications during and after my time as a law professor, I also continue to serve as Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Mashantucket Pequot (Western) Endowment Trust and am an advisor to the MacArthur Foundation.Finally, I am a proud, enrolled citizen of the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation of North Dakota.
