I am an English qualified banking lawyer based in Hamburg, Germany and I specialise in cross-border finance transactions. I am also admitted to practise in Germany.I advise financial institutions, banks and borrowers on English and German law debt financing facilities for project finance and other structured finance transactions. I also advise on English maritime law matters, in particular advising owners and charterers on a wide range of English law governed maritime agreements and represent clients in English law governed arbitration proceedings.

I am a senior banking lawyer based in Hamburg, Germany with over 20 years of experience in private practice in large international law firms. I have spent the last 15 years advising financial institutions and borrowers on English and German law finance transactions, predominantly in the project finance, asset finance and corporate finance space.I also have considerable experience in English law insolvency litigation and general restructurings. I regularly advise on all aspects of English contract law and on a variety of English maritime law matters, in particular advising owners and charterers on a wide range of English law governed maritime agreements (e.g. charterparties, bills of lading, pooling agreements and ship management contracts). I also represent clients in English law governed arbitration proceedings (LMAA and GMAA).
