About Carl Wecker
At Angel Studios I\'ve worked on a wide variety of projects including many of the apps and webpages, backend systems, scaling and load/stress testing our infrastructure to handle millions of API hits per second, and worked on the early infrastructure of collecting crowd-sourced translations from people across hundreds of languages for The Chosen. I have worked in management positions including leading the Content & Media team, processing episodes of Dry Bar Comedy, The Chosen, Freelancers, Tuttle Twins, Jungle Beat etc. I am currently working on the Watch Experience team for the Angel Mobile app.My experience includes a lot of Javascript and Elixir/Phoenix. More specifically I have experience with Mobile Apps (React-Native, Apollo GraphQL), Web (React, Vue), Backend (Elixir, Phoenix, Absinthe, Django/Python, Node, Postgres, MySQL), FFMpeg, Roku (Brightscript/SceneGraph).
