As VP of IT and CIO for General Dynamics Mission Systems, I oversee IT operations for over employees across 100 global locations. My responsibilities span IT service delivery, cybersecurity, next-generation IT platform development, and technical talent cultivation. Our team also supports the highly classified work of the company’s engineering organization.With over 40 years of experience, I have held leadership roles across General Electric, Martin Marietta, and Lockheed Martin, gaining expertise in manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and IT. This diverse background has equipped me to deliver innovative, cost-optimized IT solutions that strengthen operational efficiency and cyber resilience. Notably, I have successfully integrated three General Dynamics business units and multiple acquisitions, harmonizing IT infrastructure and cyber posture across the enterprise.Our team\'s forward-thinking leadership was pivotal during the COVID-19 pandemic, enabling Mission Systems to rapidly transition to a fully remote business model within two weeks. This effort ensured uninterrupted operations, highlighting the agility of our team and the resilience of the company’s IT backbone.In 2024, we successfully transitioned Mission Systems to a secure, hybrid multi-cloud environment, enhancing enterprise services and engineering operations while achieving cost savings and operational efficiencies.
