ABOUT CARL SAVVAS
Engineering, for me, has always been about solving real problems and not abstract ones.I completed by bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineer at King’s College London and completed an MSc in Biomaterials at Imperial College London, focusing on medical device design, risk-aware engineering, and real-world application.My experience spans both technical development and clinical operations. At BUPA Cromwell Hospital, I supported medical devices across multiple departments, working directly with clinicians to resolve issues under time-sensitive conditions. This gave me first-hand exposure to how healthcare systems function beyond theory.Alongside this, I’ve led analytical projects involving 100+ prosthetic devices and large-scale dataset evaluations (750+ devices across 14 cities), applying structured problem-solving and quantitative analysis to inform decision-making.I’m particularly interested in roles at the intersection of technology, strategy, and execution; including consulting, product, regulatory, and operational engineering positions within MedTech and healthcare.
