Thirty-two years domestic and international project management experience. Nine years of Engineering Project Management in power plant modernization (Extended Power Uprate) including a $27 million/230 MWe dual plant improvement project. Twenty-two years of field project management experience. Managed multiple Project Managers, contract employees engaged in remote underwater application tool design, drafting, electrical and mechanical tool assembly, proof of concept testing, qualification testing and quality assurance. Business Team Award for the largest non-requisition plant project ever performed by Nuclear Services. The project achieved its committed financial goals and exceeded customer satisfaction. The success of this $70+ million first of a kind project resulted in additional Asian market share and five follow-on projects of similar work scope. Nuclear Energy Institute’s Top Innovative Practice (TIP) Award for significant inspection improvement - setting a new industry standard in phased array ultrasonic inspection techniques, enabling the remote removal of a metallurgical sample from a highly irradiated reactor internal component for fracture toughness testing, chemical analysis and ATEM characterization. Previous experience with Japanese Nuclear Utilities managing delivery of post Fukushima plant modifications in support of plant restart. Growing relationships with Japanese customers and key decision makers while promoting GE product & services offerings. Currently the Small Modular Reactor (SMR) Procurement Project Director for Nuclear Island equipment for the new DNNP-1 BWRX-300 in Ontario, Canada.
