Responsible for the development and oversight of the Bank\'s enterprise risk management program. •Develops a comprehensive financial statement internal control map used for internal and external audit FDICIA requirements with the achieved goal of SOX compliance. Oversees the migration to the revised COSO internal control framework. Develops reporting process for the Audit Committee. •Identify opportunities to enhance and optimize the Bank’s risk management practices, including changes in technology and adherence to regulatory requirements. •Develops a risk assessment framework and reporting outlining the Bank’s risk tolerances and performance against those tolerances. •Identify, measure, monitor, and control credit, market, structural and liquidity, model, and operational risk across the organization. •Develop an enterprise risk policy in conjunction with the Audit Committee that clearly articulates the bank’s quantitative and qualitative risks, and risk appetite statement. •Develop a process to evaluate the impact of external factors, including regulatory supervision and economic events, and take appropriate measures to mitigate/manage the impact. •Serve on the Management ERM Committee responsible for reviewing and approving the ERM framework, risk tolerance thresholds, and board reports. Establish a framework for determining the Bank’s top risks and assigning inherent risk, determining the control level, residual risk, level of impact, and likelihood of occurrence to assign a final level of risk for the issue. Responsible for management of external audit, internal audit, regulatory audit.* Develops a risk-based approach to that internal audit program which significantly provided value to the Bank by lowering the number of audit findings from high-risk levels to low/best practice levels as the cycles progress. Develop reporting process for the Audit and Control Committee.* Serve as the Bank’s liaison with regulators on the safety and soundness exams.
