Driving innovation in genomics to enable data-powered target discovery, validation and drug development.I am a scientific leader with extensive experience in applying genomics and other omics technologies to accelerate target discovery and validation in drug development. As Director of the Genomics team within Omics Science & Technology at GSK, I lead a group of ~20 scientists delivering large-scale RNA-seq, single-cell RNA-seq, and other NGS-based assays to enable data-driven decision making across the discovery portfolio.My team provides end-to-end genomic solutions — from experimental design and data generation to interpretation — supporting multiple therapeutic areas within the Target Discovery and across GSK. Alongside this, I lead a cross-Omics matrix supporting the Neurodegeneration disease area, integrating genomics expertise across the pre-clinical pipeline to guide target identification and prioritization.I’m motivated by delivering operational excellence at scale, fostering innovation through technology development, and translating complex genomic data into actionable biological insights that drive new medicines forward.
