The summary of responsibilities for the Desktop / System Administrator at the Dallas Symphony Association and Information Technology department includes:•Assess, design, configure, implement, and maintain all technological business solutions used by the organization.•Diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and ensure program requirements are met within schedule.•Manage the Tessitura database, WEB API, Custom Procedures, and Tessitura client.•Verify, test, deploy, and support the desktop environment and end-user applications.•Administer the network infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, Exchange, Group Policy, Windows Servers, and VMware virtual production environment.•Monitor, remediate, and manage PCI compliance and related documentation.•Assist in planning, designing, documenting, and implementing various systems, including desktop PCs, servers, network equipment, and software applications.•Administer the Alcatel/Lucent VOIP phone system, voicemail, fax server, and related components.•Oversee network security, including the Firewall appliance, spam & virus filters, and ADT applications.•Provide support for cloud services, including Office 365, Appasure, AWS, and AZURE.•Mentor IT intern to while teaching the multifaced of Information Technology•Managing Vendors to facilitate what the organization needs for security, communications, and availability for their constituents.
