I am an intellectual property lawyer with a focus on trademark law. I counsel clients on brand protection, including selection, clearance, registration, proper use and enforcement of their trademarks. I have extensive experience filing and prosecuting trademark applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. I also advise clients on registering and enforcing their marks internationally, working cooperatively with local counsel around the world. My clients span many industries, including consumer products, food and beverage, biotech, pharmaceuticals, software, and financial technology. I represent clients in trademark disputes, including opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and federal court litigation. I have drafted and negotiated numerous coexistence and settlement agreements to resolve these disputes. I also am experienced in trademark licensing.In addition to my trademark work, I counsel clients on copyright registration and enforcement. I am involved in pro bono work, including trademark matters for non-profit organizations and criminal expungement and vacatur proceedings.(Attorney Advertising)
