Carissa Pastuch is currently a Reference Librarian in the Geography and Map Division, Library of Congress. Prior to this role, she held positions at the World Digital Library as Descriptions Coordinator and at the Department of Homeland Security as a Reference and Outreach Librarian. Carissa also interned at the University of Arizona Libraries and at the Library of Congress. Carissa holds a Master\'s degree in MENA & Library Science from the University of Arizona (2014), with a study abroad program in Language at Jordan\'s Yarmouk University, and a Bachelor\'s degree in Political Science from the University of Houston. She is also a veteran of the United States Army.
