Manage the investment and administration of an open pension plan and two defined contribution plans totaling $4 billion in assets. In addition, I serve as the Secretary of the Investment Committee, where I work closely with key stakeholders to develop and implement investment strategies that align with the objectives of the plans. I am dedicated to ensuring the financial health and stability of the plans while adhering to regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities-Works with a broad range of internal and external partners including business leaders, HR partners, legal counsel, the Board’s finance and audit committee, investment companies, advisors, trustees, auditors and health and welfare partners-Responsible for retirement plan and investment policies, guidelines and procedures. Ensures full compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements-Serve as a member of the Business Services Leadership team-Supervise the retirement administration team and collaborate with pension payroll, benefits accounting and benefit counselors to ensure smooth administration for participants and retirees-Coordinate and lead quarterly Savings and Retirement Investment Committee Meetings-Co-Chair the employee benefits committee-Cultivate strong service-oriented rapport with employees, leaders, and partners-Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise in benefit administration-Oversee annual benefit plan audits as well as biannual Department of Energy audits-Assist with annual budgets for all benefit programs
