About Carina Clawson-Rossi

I joined Esri as Product Engineer to manage the technical documentation of ArcGIS IPS technology.Previously, I was a Technical Writer at Alaka’ina Foundation Family of Companies, supporting the FDA Office of Minority Health and Health Equity. In this role I created the first federal resource for the disease hidradenitis suppurativa, I launched a biweekly newsletter, and have written copy for hundreds of social media posts.Prior to working with the FDA, I was a Content Writer and then Associate Editor for Think Medium. At Think Medium, we interviewed healthcare leaders and created thought leadership content for our c-suite audience. I was involved through the whole process. I met with interviewees and wrote interview questions, pulled quotes and short videos, created one-pagers and newsletters, and scripted “mash-up” episodes to synthesize notable themes.I graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s in biology and master’s in public health.
