Cari truly believes social work is her calling. For as long as she can remember, she has had the need to lend a helping hand to or a listening ear and solve problems. She is motivated with a strong belief that you can do almost anything with the right plan and knowledge. She strives to be a professional and an effective leader in the social services field and influences others to do the same by believing in the goals and dreams of each person she engages. No matter the age, she is capable of building rapport and fostering a relationship. Cari holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Detroit Mercy and a master’s degree in Social Work from Wayne State University. She is a licensed master’s social work professional (LMSW). Cari has exceptional experience in leadership with working with children, vulnerable adults and the aging population in settings including nursing facility, nonprofit community organizations, outpatient, inpatient, health systems and community mental health centers.
