I design for what comes after the cliff.That’s where my work lives - in unmarked territory where old paths disappear and new ones begin. In these uncharted spaces, with the right repertoire, we can pause, attune, and co-create - not extract - our way forward, even as the path ahead is still taking shape.I do this work with my long-time colleague and co-conspirator, Pauline Ferrer, through The Uncharted - our living-systems laboratory for moving the needed work of this moment through the unknown in ways that tend to its life.In recent years, we’ve collected stories, shaped tools, and exchanged ideas with social innovators around the world, tending to what’s rooting and trying to grow for the wellbeing of people and planet - as speed, scarcity, and short-term thinking pull the world in the opposite direction.This is slow work.
