I love to create new clinical services that meaningfully impact patient care while allowing me to practice at the top of my pharmacy license. I identify gaps in care and develop partnerships with key health care professionals to generate new service lines. I continually develop and improve workflows, processes and communication channels to ensure effective implementation. I prioritize information exchange and continual education for myself and my team in order to identify areas for improvement and service expansion.I have enjoyed a unique mix of positions throughout my career in engineering, academia, clinical practice and precepting. These experiences have taught me the following about myself:I can successfully expand ambulatory care clinic from 3 service lines to 9 services lines in 4 years- I put patient care at the center of everything I do- I translated expanded services to a 3x increase in billed revenue and a double-digit increase in patient visits- I excel at overcoming hurdles to implement brand new clinical ideasI can leverage relationships with key HCPs to grow clinical services from the ground up- I collaborated with pharmaceutical staff to update lipid management service and grow it to ~100 patients managed with long-acting injectable medication Leqvio®- I partnered with physician champions to develop HIV management and prevention services to include ~10 patients approved for long-acting injectable medications Cabenuva® and Apretude®- I created Medication Access Program to successfully obtain nearly $10M in free medications for patients in-need over 3 yearsI educate myself and those around me to build strong teams and support continued excellence- I have precepted pharmacy students for a total of nearly hours- I trained department colleagues, pharmacy technicians and inpatient pharmacy staff to operate inside the ambulatory care department successfully- I am an avid lifelong learner always striving to be a better version of myselfI enjoy meeting new people and learning from their fresh perspectives.
