About Cari Grieb

Cari has represented a range of clients in connection with senior, first lien and second lien financings, credit facilities, joint ventures, stock and asset acquisitions, leveraged buy-out transactions, and restructurings. She also has experience representing both professional teams and banks in stadium finance transactions and other sports law matters. Prior to joining Chapman and Cutler, Cari practiced at the law firm of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP from 20••••10. She also clerked for the Honorable Suzanne B. Conlon of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Cari is currently an Adjunct Professor of Sports Law at Northwestern University\'s Masters in Sports Administration Program and a Senior Lecturing Fellow at Duke Law School; she has also been an Adjunct Professor of Sports Law at The John Marshall Law School since 2010. Cari is a frequent participant and lecturer at both sports law symposiums and law schools nationwide. She is often asked to comment to the media or to speak on racial and gender-related sports law topics, of which she is also an advisor to the National Football League Players Association. She is the current Co-Chair of the Chicago Bar Association Sports Law Committee.
