ABOUT SANJEEV KUMAR
Sanjeev is the founder of CareFrame, an early-stage company dedicated to streamlining and accelerating key aspects of healthcare research. He is a clinical graduate with health management & policy focus (MHSA, 2012-\'14, University of Michigan Ann Arbor). He has 10+ years of frontline experience in developing and managing cloud and machine learning systems ground up on-premise. He has worked on\' GPS-denied 3D navigation\',\'BCIs with dry EEG electrodes\' and \'machine-vision with Time-of-Flight, LiDAR and Stereoscopic cameras\'. In 2014, he worked as a research associate with the Engagement Team, Project Learning Health System, part of University Of Michigan Third Century Initiatives. In 2015, their team presented at the 48th Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences. He later joined Henry Ford Health as a full-time analyst. From 2016 to 2018, he developed and patented the use of autoencoder neural networks on medication administration records, flagging drug diversion cases by floor nurses. He secured funding from the Service Line leadership to setup a 4x \'Tesla K80\' GPU cluster to model population level datasets. He developed Cortex, an on-premise cloud platform integrated with patient records to host standalone applications ranging from \'Data Wrangling\',\'Adverse Events Alerts\',\'PHI Anonymization\',\'Intervention & Outcomes Research on Disease Registries\' among others. In 2018, in collaboration with Medical Group, he presented at Group Practice Improvement Network, Oregon a deep learning based no-show prediction application that has since been in live production and used by clinical specialties finding efficiencies in scheduling from knowing which patients to overbook. From 2019 to 2024, he managed informatics in the clinical work led by the HFH team as part of a multisite program, funded by the CDC and administered by the American College of Preventive Medicine. Their team\'s work was recognized by the Joint Commission, selecting them as finalists across United States for \'The Bernard J. Tyson\' National Award for Excellence in Pursuit of Healthcare Equity. In his tenure at Henry Ford Health, Sanjeev worked in various capacities ranging from \'technical evaluation of companies seeking partnership with HFH\', organizing conferences, and collaborating across several teams and departments. He led multiple product training sessions across various network hospitals. Sanjeev has consistently demonstrated his commitment to improving healthcare through action and discernment required to excel in complex, technology-driven environments.
