ABOUT EVAN DAVID MUSE
Serious about innovation in medicine and clinical research and tirelessly promoting a patient-centric approach to all that I do.I\'m a physician-scientist with research interests that mine the transition zone of digital medicine, genomics and cardiovascular disease. After my undergraduate studies in biochemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I completed my medical and graduate studies at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Following internship and residency in internal medicine at the Columbia University Medical Center – New York Presbyterian Hospital, I completed my training in cardiology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California. I have served as a judge for both the Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZE and IBM Watson AI XPRIZE competitions and am an Associate Editor for the Nature Partner Journal - Digital Medicine. I am currently Lead for Cardiovascular Genomics at the Scripps Research Translational Institute and am a cardiologist & Assistant Program Director for Research of the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla.
