About Jeffrey B. Katz
In 2001, I co-founded Mercury Payment Systems (MPS) and aligned with Point of Sale (POS) Developers and Resellers to deliver payment processing merchants. In doing so, we changed the way the POS Industry generated revenue. Silver Lake Partners, the leading private investor in technology and technology-enabled industries, recognized the continued growth potential of these innovations and made a strategic investment, acquiring a 61% interest in 2010. In 2013, I was individually recognized by the RSPA,(the POS industry\'s trade association), by being inducted into their Hall of Fame. That was a very proud achievement.In 2014, Mercury Payment Systems was sold to Vantiv, Inc.
