ABOUT CARCIA CAMPBELL

My name is Carcia Campbell. My career life started off very young as a child actor and performer here in Toronto. By my teens I was touring Canada in Theatre as a singer and actor. I retired from that life to attend college and become a Journalist. While studying Journalism at Humber College I wrote for newspapers and magazines as a freelancer. I moved on to Broadcast Journalism with Rogers 10 and worked behind the scenes for YTV and CTV News as a writer. After a few short years, I landed at EMI Music Canada as a publicist assistant (yes, I worked with Coldplay and a young Katy Perry). To keep my creative brain alive, I co-founded a fashion lifestyle blog Hercastlegirls.com which led to art direction and casting with America\'s Next Top Model Live Toronto and the fashion designer Indashio. My skills in Marketing led to a rewarding career move in the Marketing Tech industry. While working in Tech, I took on work in costume styling, art direction, brand representation and social media content. I worked in Marketing for over a decade, from traditional marketing to Customer Success in the Tech space. I am an advocate for Alopecia Awareness, Mental Health Awareness, DE & I Initiatives and Creative Women in Business. I’ve been involved in Panels with Humber College’s Public Relations students and Diversity/ Inclusion panels with public relation companies such as Porter Novelli.
