Approved Support Host for local disabled people in Kent - I provide live-in respite, so clients are in their home environment, this usually is to cover holidays or weekends away Supported those with: learning disabilities, Turners, Autism, AnxietyWhile I stay over, this involves or may involve: Providing emotional support and companionship Responding to and managing any emergencies or unexpected situations, incident reporting Acting as an advocate for the individuals in my care, ensuring their needs and rights are represented and respected Offering daily care and support tailored to the individual needs, maintaining daily routine, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing at all times Maintaining a safe, welcoming, and nurturing home environment Assisting with the personal development and independence of individuals through structured activities, support with personal tasks, and encouraging participation in community events Assistance with managing medication, doctor\'s appointments, or other special care requirements (should they occur during respite)
