I believe the best way to grow is becoming comfortable with what once made you uncomfortable, and pushing yourself to learn something new everyday.Through Carolina News, I first gained experience across multiple newsroom roles- all while covering some of the biggest stories in the state alongside local news outlets. A semester abroad in Florence, Italy- with visits to over 10 countries- deepened my understanding of global issues and sparked a commitment to bring cross cultural awareness to my reporting.
