About Cara Rudnic

I grew up in New York, on the south shore of Long Island and it has remained my primary residence while attending school. Although NY has always been special to me, I\'ve found such beauty all over the world through traveling and extending stays in other countries, such as Ireland and the Dominican Republic. My favorite elements of working in hospitality would be the ability to impact people positively through genuine care and providing a rewarding experience. In that line of work I\'ve found that many people only get short moments of leisure and that one interaction you have with a guest is the one \"vacation\" they have all week, all month, all year. Getting my start as cocktail waitress at the age of 18 and working my way through college, I feel I received the best of both worlds with a formal education and the wisdom of life experience gained through the fast paced restaurant industry. A few years ago I was given the opportunity to become a sales executive with a small but growing financial firm and it\'s been greatly rewarding. No experience in life is wasted. Every single one has become useful and relevant as I\'ve grown my professionalism and credentials. My passions include art, music, literature, poetry, gourmet cooking, and the pursuit of health and wellness.
