Cara Neighbors is the Director of Financial Reporting at The McCallie School. Previously an assurance manager at Elliott Davis Decosimo where she provided a variety of assurance services, including financial statement audits, reviews and compilations and audits of internal control over financial reporting to investment companies, privately held businesses, public companies and not-for-profit organizations.She provided assurance services for approximately 60 investment companies and an investment advisory firm. Her experience with private investment partnerships and limited liability companies was concentrated in venture capital, private equity and fund of funds with assets under management in excess of $6 billion. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with emphasis in accounting and finance. She is licensed certified public accountant licensed in Tennessee. She participates in various civic and community events throughout the greater Chattanooga area.
