About Cara Flyer
I am currently a senior at Penn State University pursuing a degree in Public Relations. I have had a variety of both on and off-campus experiences throughout my academic career that have developed my skills and knowledge in the communications field. On campus, I am the Events Director for VALLEY Magazine - Penn State’s premier student-run life and style. In this position, I have the chance to establish connections and work in tandem with various Penn State organizations and local businesses to organize events aimed at fostering brand awareness for VALLEY. I am an engaged member of Penn State THON, the world\'s largest student-run philanthropy. I serve on a Public Relations committee where I craft THON Blog posts that highlight organizations fundraising efforts. In the summer of 2022, I worked as a Consumer Engagement Intern at Parlux Ltd, a leading global beauty company specializing in prestige fragrances. In the summer of 2023, I interned with The Estée Lauder Companies as an Influencer Marketing Intern with Clinique. I am currently seeking full-time employment opportunities in the communications/marketing field following my graduation in May, with a particular focus in the personal care/beauty/consumer industry.
