About Cara Anselmo

Cara Anselmo is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist specializing in oncology nutrition, plant-based diets, and women\'s health. She has been on staff at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center since 2007 and sees limited private clients. Cara is a certified yoga teacher (CYT-200) and has been leading classes since 2007. She particularly loves teaching vinyasa and gentle yoga, and tries to live yoga outside of asana every day.

Provide cross coverage in other oncology services as needed.Present original lectures and interactive webinars for patients, community, MSK staff, and MSK Directcorporate partners. Recently created and implemented virtual webinar for MSK Direct on nutrition, wellness, and cancer risk reduction, engaging more than 940 real-time participants.Contribute to clinical planning and implementation of pilot MSK Healthy Living Program, which addresseswhole-patient care and promotes seamless transition from active treatment to survivorship (currently inplace in 20+ breast medicine clinics in Manhattan and regional sites, with plan to roll out in other serviceshospital-wide).Participate in weekly Clinical Nutrition Conference.
