I am a Chartered Accountant with experience spanning across Fintech, Healthcare, Global Capability Centers GCC - IT/ITES Insurance and Financial Services space having worked with Top-Tier Multinationals and well Governed Indian companies- Calyx-Parexel, UnitedHealth Group/Optum, MetLife, GE, HDFC Life, Cholamandalam Finance and Escorts At M1xchange, a RBI regulated Fintech entity backed by marquee investors, I lead the finance function for the Group legal entities including one in IFSC - GIFT City. Responsible for Controllership, FP & A, tax, audits, statutory compliance including ODI and SEZ. Highlights : Turnaround with YOY 2X growth in Thruput and 3X increase in PAT. ODI investments both through approval and automatic route. Prior to M1xchange, I led Perceptive ( erstwhile Calyx ) India Finance & Global Finance Shared Services Center. Perceptive is a Healthcare company ( Private Equity backed )that spun off from Parexel in Jan 2021. I was instrumental in successful transition from Parexel, setting up Global Shared Services Center. At UnitedHealth Group (Optum), I supported the management team and set up Group\'s Captive Centers in the APAC Region - India and Philippines (Top line $1B and employees). I spearheaded establishing, running and growing the Finance and Tax function, working with Business heads and driving profitable growth, strategic execution and Corporate Governance agenda. In addition to effectively managing the P&L, I was instrumental in driving cost reduction and automation led transformation projects for enhancing operational efficiency. I led execution of Advance Pricing Agreements (APA) with India and US IRS thereby providing the needed tax certainty to the Group, resolved tax disputes and secured substantial GST refunds from the tax department. Possess comprehensive knowledge in SEZ laws and setting up SEZ/PEZA across India and Philippines. I have experience of setting up MNCs in APAC, managing Finance & Tax operations, global teams and working in a matrix environment. Skills sets include Controllership, Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting, Funds raising, Investors management, Corporate Taxation, Treasury, Corporate Governance, Transfer Pricing, M&A and Shared Services.
