At-Risk Individuals LeadServe in a congressionally mandated position as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on at-risk individuals for ASPR and across the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Lead efforts to integrate the needs of at-risk populations—including children, older adults, individuals with disabilities, and those with access and functional needs—into preparedness, response, and recovery. Collaborate with federal, state, and community partners to align strategies, strengthen protections, and develop resources that translate policy into practice. Provide actionable recommendations to leadership and create opportunities for shared learning and innovation across sectors.
