Handled end to end statutory audits for Private equity clients involving planning, substantive testing, review and reporting. Developed an understanding over private equity accounting, access significant accounts and other areas to focus while performing audit procedures. Assisting team in most complex areas of audit including recalculation of general partner’s profit share / management fees per limited partner agreement, carried interest calculations, level three investment valuations etc. Verification of Limited Partner commitments based on final closing commitment. Other Engagements – Employee Benefit Plans Participated in planning, risk assessment and other areas to audit. Performed testing over eligibility, contribution, income allocation, distribution, loan etc. as per RSM methodology. Primarily worked on Fidelity and Principal TPA’s.
