About Jeff Caplan

Jeff is an experienced corporate and entrepreneurial executive with expertise in operations, marketing strategy, and data-driven program optimization. Jeff co-founded 89 Degrees, a loyalty and Customer Journey Management (CJM) marketing agency that had grown to 85 FTE at the time it was acquired in 2018. In addition, Jeff led the marketing function and served on the Executive Committee of Verbind, a venture-backed software company acquired by SAS, and managed sales and marketing for a recycling company acquired by Waste Management. He has also held leadership roles at Wells Fargo Bank and Accenture. Active in the community, Jeff has advised mission-driven organizations on pivotal strategic planning, operational efficiency, and marketing strategy for more than ten years. He also sits on the Boards of Old North Illuminated (oldnorth.org) and Community Consulting Teams (cctboston.org.) Jeff holds a BA from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
