Piyush has a unique combination of financial qualification (Chartered Accountant) and technology (Masters in Computer Science). Because of this blend, Piyush can bring a holistic proposition on to the table while advising or suggesting solutions. He believes in developing a meaningful long-term relationship with Companies or individuals. Piyush prefers to work as a partner with the clients rather than a consultant relationship. Piyush is not afraid of putting his skin in the game while entering into a long-term partnership. Piyush is passionate about learning and implementing new things, tools, technology. He is passionate about sharing knowledge. He is a regular speaker at various forums like ICAI, ACCA, CII, CMA and at Corporates.Piyush specialized on subjects like Ind AS, IFRS, US GAAP on the core accounting front. He is enthusiast about the new technologies like AI, ML, Big Data, Blockchain, Data Science. Piyush also has a keen interest in the area of soft skills and self-development. He has conducted various seminars on Thinking, Time Management, Game Theory, Storytelling for corporates and Motivation for students. His experience spans over 13 years in Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Advisory Services and Project Management. He has wide-ranging sector experience in – Manufacturing, Engineering, Automobile, IT/ITES/BPO, Real Estate among others. He has exposure to working in a global environment for clients at ‘onshore’ and ‘offshore’ locations and handling large teams.As part of this role, he has gained extensive knowledge and experience in various aspects of financial reporting, financial analytical processes, closing processes, exposure to day to day business processes, control environment, technical accounting matters under both Indian GAAP and IFRS, stakeholder management including auditors, project management and experience of leading medium to large teams on such projects. He has led several large audit engagements in which he was responsible for planning, strategizing, executing and conclusion of audit engagements. He has also worked in a multi-GAAP environment and is knowledgeable in Ind AS, IFRS, US GAAP. He has experience of working with listed and unlisted companies.
