About Jahn
I am an Honors Accounting student at the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business, maintaining a 3.75 GPA and on track to complete my Master of Accounting (Audit Track) and be CPA eligible by May 2028. I have been recognized with the Flagship Merit, Special Forces, and Goff Strategic Leadership scholarships.Currently, I serve as Vice President of Activities for Beta Alpha Psi and an Accounting Student Representative in Business Student Government. Beyond the classroom, I have helped to prepare more than 700 tax returns through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, helping secure in refunds, saving clients approximately in preparation costs, and contributing to a 201% year-over-year increase in returns.Professionally, this past fall I gained internal audit experience as an Intern at Eide Bailly, where I assisted with internal control walkthroughs, compliance testing, regulatory reviews, and risk assessments for government and gaming clients, including participation in an onsite Nevada casino audit applying state gaming minimum internal control standards. I am currently an Accounting Intern at Packsize, supporting payroll, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and sales tax processes while analyzing data using SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft Access to ensure accurate financial records. Previously, as a Treasury Analyst Intern at WEX Bank, I reconciled daily cash positions, managed wire transfers of up to $10 million and over $500 million weekly, coordinated settlement funding, and supported debt management and forecasting. As a Data Analytics Intern at Circles Salt Lake, I used Excel to evaluate healthcare spending trends and present recommendations that informed leadership and donor engagement strategy. In addition, I work with University of Utah Athletics Broadcast and In-Venue Production, operating equipment for 50+ ESPN and NCAA live event broadcasts reaching audiences of people.Growing up in a military family with 12 relocations across 8 states has made me highly adaptable, resilient, and collaborative. I am now seeking a Winter 2027 Audit & Assurance internship where I can leverage my diverse experiences to provide value to clients while building my professional expertise.
