About Catherine Ang

With over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, I am passionate about workforce development, program quality, and social impact. As the National Director of Enrollment at Year Up, I oversee the strategy, execution, and alignment of the enrollment function across the organization, ensuring that we reach, recruit, and retain talented and diverse young adults who can benefit from our programs and services. I am also a Certified Predictive Index Analyst, which enables me to leverage data and insights to optimize the performance and engagement of our teams and stakeholders.In addition to my current role at Year Up, I am also a Senior Fellow at the Institute for Nonprofit Practice, where I facilitate weekly seminars with nonprofit leaders using an action-oriented problem-solving framework to address specific challenges they encounter in their work. Through this experience, I have honed my skills in leadership development, facilitation, coaching, and organizational change. I am also committed to continuous learning and growth, and hold a Master of Public Administration from New York University and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Columbia Business School.
