With nearly 18 years of experience as an attorney, mentor, and educator in the community association and construction industry, Cang is a seasoned leader recognized for his expertise in HOA legal matters and construction-related challenges.Before joining CM2, Cang served as a partner at prominent law firms, where he represented thousands of HOAs, successfully litigated complex cases—including maintenance and construction defect disputes—and provided strategic legal guidance on compliance and governance. His extensive career includes litigation, the court of appeals, mentoring attorneys, training community managers, and collaborating with management companies to raise standards for quality and accountability across the industry.As President and CLO of CM2 & Associates, Cang leads the company’s efforts to deliver comprehensive construction, repair, and maintenance services tailored to the unique needs of HOAs. His leadership ensures that CM2 continues to set benchmarks in governance, legal compliance, and high-quality project execution.Cang’s commitment to excellence and deep understanding of the HOA industry make him a trusted partner for community associations striving to achieve their goals.Cang earned his Juris Doctor (JD) and Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of San Diego and holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Managerial Economics from UC Davis.
