About Candy Magaña
I am a capacity builder and operator with a mission to empower leaders and individuals who support historically marginalized populations. Applying my personal lived experience of growing up in an underserved community and navigating complex systems for my own care, I create infrastructure to upskill care teams, leaders and employees to ensure quality customer and patient experiences. As a respected servant leader, facilitator, master trainer and healthcare transformation coach in the spaces of primary care, healthcare technology and academia, I am continuing my journey in strategically leading and executing on programs and operations with the lens of health equity and inclusion. I hold a Master of Public Administration in health policy and management from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University. I currently reside in Columbus, Ohio with my husband, and am the proud daughter of immigrant parents from the Philippines and Mexico.
