A leading manufacturer and distributor of chemical specialty sealants with products catering to various trades including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC/R), plumbing, electrical, and construction markets.I provide HR support to a large primarily Spanish speaking population of 500+ employees in 8 locations nationwide.• Manage full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, employee satisfaction, employee relations, performance management, promotions, exit interviews, and terminations.• Develop an onboarding program focused on diversity equity and inclusion to educate newly hired employees on internal procedures, HR policies, and regulations to promote a safe environment for employees to thrive.• Conduct I-9 verification and documentation, e-verify, and I-9 audits. • Lead comprehensive investigations into employee complaints, including harassment, discrimination, and policy violations, ensuring fair and unbiased outcomes.• Successfully mediate conflicts between employees, resulting in improved workplace relationships and reduced turnover. • Conduct background checks and schedule/review all random drug and alcohol testing.• Provide guidance focusing on liability management including performance measurement review, investigative documentation, employee counseling, and securing internal legal input as required.• Facilitate onboarding and integration of employees for newly acquired firms. • Create and maintain official internal documents such as offer letters, termination notices, severance packages, salary adjustments, FMLA, LOA, Short-term disability, and worker’s compensation. • Partner with Predictive Index Consultant to align people strategy with the business strategy.
