Manage, plan, and administer administrative operations for the Berkeley Wireless Research Center with an annual budget of $20M.• Design, develop, and implement, in collaboration with the Center’s Faculty Co-Directors, applied research and educational programs, such as symposia, conferences, and executive education courses that meet the needs of current and prospective students, facultymembers and industry professionals• Manage and develop new processes for efficient management of day-to-day activities.• Providing membership review and invoicing to BWRC members annually. • Report to the executive director the membership balance and forecast for future years. • Analyze BWRC income and present findings to directors and member board of advisors biannually. • Establish policies to ensure the overall financial security of the BWRC while maintaining services to 9 faculty and 100+ students• Provide additional support for faculty with sponsor financial reporting requirements• Work with various campus groups and funding agency sponsors regarding terms and conditions and to assist faculty with restrictions* Manage the BWRC bi-annual retreat meetings for 150 plus attendees, including employees of 12 member companies, faculty, and graduate students from COE.• Manage a variety of human resources activities including employment, training, classification and ensuring the completion of forms and documentsrelated to HR and Payroll for BWRC.• Manage and implement regular upgrades of the BWRC facilities equipment, and infrastructure to support the research activities within our financial budgets.• Work with campus offices and landlord to negotiate our lease renewals and ongoingexpenditures to maintain a safe and highly functioning center• Help facilitate grant awards and gift letters/funding and support Faculty Co-Directors inwriting successful proposals.
