Over the past 15+ years, I have built a solid reputation as an offshore project management leader who steps up to help oil, gas, and energy companies build their offshore (subsea) programs from the ground up.Client-focused and results-driven, I have leveraged my previous experience with some of North America’s top energy infrastructure companies to deliver the full lifecycle of multi-million-dollar gas / pipeline and marine infrastructure projects for bp, Worley, Technip, and Subsea 7. With a history of progressive career growth in Process Flow Assurance Engineer / Specialist roles since 2011, I have built resilient team relationships, delivered high-risk capital projects, and solved critical multi-stage project issues across North & South America, the Middle East, and Africa. In 2015, I launched my project management services consulting company, CAB Consulting Group, during an oil, gas & energy industry downturn. I now leverage my extensive project management experience to deliver flow assurance services for mid-level ocean engineering / offshore project phases and field operations. As a multilingual (English / Spanish / Portuguese) expert in mid-scale project management, I excel at motivating diverse international teams of engineers to identify operational risks and develop standard operating procedures. I entered oil and gas to learn everything I could about engineering offshore projects knowing that this experience would one day be beneficial to the renewable energy industry.My time to join the energy transition has come! Some of my career impacts and specializations include: Mitigated the need for operator intervention throughout all stages of a 6-month project for 2 of bp’s Angola-based assets by tuning and deploying gas refinery / pipeline technology on 6 offshore risers. Facilitated delivery of Saudi Aramco’s critical Marjan Expansion project (2.5Bscf/d) as Worley’s Lead Engineer by directing a Gas Production Flow Assurance FEED study with two direct reports. Executed new field development project phases from conceptual to pre-FEED and FEED, including Ixtoc-Akal Gas Pipeline, Lakach Deepwater Gas Field Development, and PEMEX Ayatsil Heavy Oil Field projects. Leveraged Engineering Project Management and Data Analytics certification to ensure project feasibility, partnering with other disciplines on project designs and directly with clients to provide them with data-driven recommendations for final decisions.
