ABOUT CANDIS CONNELL
Hello! Welcome to my professional page. My hope is that you become inspired by the posts and concepts found here. Feel free to message me to connect! My passion for health behavior change began while living in Hawaii. It was clear that the local people of Hawaii needed more than simply healthcare or mental healthcare, many were struggling for their basic needs, such as consistent food and shelter. My passion erupted in connecting the mind and body, focusing on aspects of the whole person, and helping people live a full life. My training and career path brought me to land in my current position as the Health Behavior Coordinator and National THRIVE program coordinator for James A. Haley Veterans Hospital & Clinics located in Tampa, FL. My primary focus is to care for PEOPLE, whether Veterans or staff, through integrated care practices and positive psychology concepts. How can we all live well? That is the quest I am presently on!
