About Candice Ashton
After spending 12 years at KIPP DC serving students in Wards 7 and 8, I have moved to independent schools. In my current role, I am more than a college guidance counselor.I provide academic, social, and emotional support for students as they complete the arduous college application process. I also build partnerships with high schools and other CBOs to guide students to the best fit post-secondary placement for them.
